Is my punk rare?
This is a great question.
Rarity is a combination of multiple factors: 1) Gender/species, 2) Attributes, and 3) # of attributes.
Off the bat, if you pull something non-human, you are already holding something incredibly rare!
To add on, varying attributes (e.g., mustache, hate, mask, hair style, etc.) can add more value to your punk!
Take a look at the image below.
You will notice that under ranking system, it’s not always monkeys and zombies that dominate the top 20. As a matter of fact, some features are so rare (e.g., baldness) that it can surpass even the rare breeds!
There are two ways to spot rarity of your freshly minted punk.
- Check the middle number on your punk profile. This number indicates the rank out of 10,000.
2. Use the background color!
Orange (Extremely Rare)>Yellow (Very Rare)>Dark Purple (Rare)>Light Purple (Uncommon)>Blue (Common)
Based on these numbers, you will be able to determine pricing of your punk on opensea!
