Getting the right wallet and the right network
- First thing you need to know is that the PolygonPunks is on the Polygon Mainnet.
- We recommend using metamask
- When you download Metamask, it is set to the Ethereum Network, so you need to make sure you add the Polygon Mainnet Network. You can follow this guide here.
Getting funds
- You will need 125 $Matic to mint one punk
- If you are on an exchange, withdraw $Matic to your Metamask and use that to mint a punk!
- Remember, you will need enough funds for gas for any bridging or sending tokens, so always be sure to send a little more.
Bridging BEP-20 $Matic
- If you are trading DeFi and don’t use an exchange, you can use a bridging service to move $Matic on whatever chain over to the polygon network.
- You can use Binance Bridge to move $Matic to the ERC-20 version, then use the Matic wallet to move the wrapped $Matic to the Polygon mainnet (Guide)
Bridging ERC-20 wrapped $Matic
- You can directly connect you wallet to the Matic wallet and swap through their portal! Remember, you will need some $Eth for the inital gas! Here is a guide.
The exciting part!
Now, you have funds and you are on the right polygon mainnet network for your wallet! The only thing left is to mint a punk!
- Head over to our website
- Connect your wallet
- Click ‘Mint’
It will take several minutes for your Punk to show up, but you will be able view it under ‘My punks’
